Last week we got to spent a little time in Seattle visiting family. The weather was gorgeous–even the rain–and we had such a perfect view from the place we were staying. It was a little hard to come back to triple digit temps!

A mirror, a candle and some lingerie…sounds like the beginning of a joke. But Snake seemed to enjoy it….

I was standing at the window and commenting on the gorgeous view. And Snake pipes up from behind me, “Yes, yes it is…”

Even though it still got to 100 this weekend, the mornings are definitely starting to show that fall is coming. So, it’s time to get in some pool time before it gets too cold…

With the weather being stupid hot, it’s time to move activities indoors for a bit. But, that can be pretty steamy too…

Last Monday was the anniversary of the day we first started dating exclusively. It’s been just a few years now (NOT) but I love that we still remember the beginning. And Snake brought me home flowers!

Last weekend while we were at the hotel for the margarita championship, I took advantage of the photo in the bathroom–as one does, right?

This past weekend we went to the margarita championships here in town. I mean, what’s not to love with margarita tastings and food pairings?

They might be covered up a lot of the day, but there’s nothing like some ocean-inspired underwear to give me that summer feeling…

As we’ve shared many times on the blog, Snake and I love to dance. We’ve taken lessons for about 10 years. We’re far from professional, but we have a lot of fun and perform when we can.

Nothing feels quite so nice as a Monday holiday. Three days of rest and relaxation–who needs clothes? Mmm…

It’s already getting warm here in Tucson. As much as I love the sun so much more than cloudy weather, there are times when it’s time for a break.

While we had a fantastic road trip and saw so many wonderful things, it’s definitely nice to be home. We were at snow level several times on the trip, and saw lots of rain and even some hail. Being a desert rat, it seems too late in the spring for the furnace to be on.

While we were driving through eastern Oregon towards Portland, there were some amazing views. The snow-covered mountains are gorgeous and then we traveled down the Columbia River gorge. We even saw a herd of elk by the side of the road.

Currently, we are on a road trip. Last Monday was hot and then yesterday we went from warm to threatening snow.
