Day 5 — A Sneak Peek
While we were doing pictures for Sinful Sunday a couple of weeks ago, I jokingly grabbed the camera and took some boob selfies. Snake was a big fan of this one…
Day 4 – TBT – Gettin’ Hitched
Just a few years ago (nearly 30) we tied the knot – and were together 5+ years before that, so, yeah… this may qualify as a throw-back Thursday kinda picture. So much has happened, all the typical “this is your life” type stuff.
I think it’s safe to say that, through thick and thin, our biggest help has been each other (sappy, right?) – we are lucky to be able to rely on each other – and we continue to change, morph and adjust as we move forward.
Day 3 — A Treat for Snake
One of Snake’s favorite things, excluding me, is fruit. And strawberries are one of his favorites. What a perfect place for him to find a treat….
Day 2 – Stopping to Take Time
Everything can be such a rush – sometimes it’s nice to just sit and relax.
Day 1 – Soaking
I’m tempted to say this is Charmer in her natural state. In the bath, relaxing, reading, and yes, tweeting. It’s a reset time of day for us both – her for getting away, me for resetting and getting things shut down and ready for the next day.
Ah, Leg Warmers!
I’m a pretty old-fashioned guy on many things – and one of them is leg warmers. I love them. Charmer will be the first to tell you that she “used” them as the initial way to get my attention (I believe she said “reel him in”) – it still works to this day.
Sinful Sunday #26 — Thursday Nights
As you might have noticed from our tweets, Snake and I spend a lot of nights at the dance studio either with lessons or practicing. And on a lot of our *off* nights, we have an adult daughter who likes to come here and drink our alcohol…
Thursday night is always our night alone. A little wine and a nice body rub is heaven…

I have to say, I love this picture because it reminds me of a cat – snoozing in the sun from the window, completely relaxed, oblivious to the world. It’s one of Charmer’s favorite things – lounging in the sun (usually reading) and kicked back relaxing. The only thing better are her soaking baths, perhaps a topic for future images. 🙂

Sinful Sunday #12 — A Clean Shot
At least for us, one of the perks of staying in a nice hotel is the gorgeous bathroom. This one has a huge tub that actually accommodates my 6’4″ Snake and myself along with a separate shower. And, while I love my house and my own tub, it isn’t nearly as fancy as this.

Charmer has a voracious appetite…for reading. As often as not, she’s deep in a book and I see nothing wrong at all with that. Especially when she does it to tease and torture. It seems she’s always finding new ways to do just that.

When we saw the theme for October was Simple Pleasures, Snake immediately knew that he wanted this picture. He started doing my pedicures back when I was pregnant with our son. In other words, an eon ago. 🙂 One day he was watching me getting frustrated because I couldn’t reach my toes. He offered to take care of it to be nice–and probably avoid another meltdown.
