“Just let it go.” We start hearing it when we are children and someone “borrows” our stuff without asking. Or takes our swing or calls us a name. Or any other variety of seemingly insignificant hurts.

Last year we went to Last Vegas for our anniversary. We’ve done that for anniversary trips, concerts and just because we want time together. It was where we had our honeymoon and it is “our” place.

Living in the Sonoran Desert, seasons tend to have different dates than most of the Northern Hemisphere. While Spring is still well over a month away, it is here already.

Getting into the Christmas spirit has definitely been more of a challenge this year. We tend to do the excessive decorating in the house, but we have trimmed down this year.

One of the hardest things that Snake and I have dealt with during lockdown has been the pause on our dance lessons. They have been a Monday night break where we can focus on each other and just have fun for almost 6 years.
