H is for Home

“I think Pepper is happy to see us,” said Leah. “She hasn’t moved since we got home.”

Wesley laughed. “Gina does a good job of taking care of him, but he does love his family. And it’s good to know we were missed.”

“True. It was a great trip even though we couldn’t find five minutes to ourselves. I’m glad to be back to some privacy.”

“I thought I might actually kill my sister when she walked in on us kissing. She acts like she’s 10 and like no one else in the world ever kisses.”

Leah giggled. “It was like being caught by the principal in school. And then everyone looking at us like we had been having sex in the parlor.” She drew out the last word like she was in a 1920s movie.

“Maybe because she was caught almost naked when she was a junior in high school by Mom. She didn’t get to leave the house for a month.”

“Seriously? I think I might have died of embarrassment at that age.” She pushed Pepper on the floor and snuggled in front of Wes. “My turn. Sorry, girl, you can get more attention later.”

He put his arms around her and started kissing her neck. Of course, he knew that was her kryptonite. She leaned back and savored each shiver that ran down her body. His hands wandered down and started pulling at her sweater. “Too many clothes,” he murmured. She pulled her sweater over her head and tossed it on the floor.

He turned her around and unhooked her bra. She slid it down over her shoulders and it dropped next to the sweater. They came together in a kiss, each battling for more and closer. He pulled away long enough to pull off his shirt and then kissed her again.

“These pants need to be gone, now,” she gasped and stood up to unzip her jeans. Just as she bent over to slide them down, she saw their neighbor across the way standing in his window, watching.

She froze for a second and then burst out laughing. “I think we’ve been caught again,” she nodded across the street to the opposite apartment. Wes looked where she was pointing and saw Matt. He was laughing.

Wes quickly flipped him off and turned to Leah. “Maybe the bedroom? Race you there.”

“Are you sure?” she asked, turning her back to Mike and shaking her butt. “No show?”

“No show. I want you all to myself after the past week,” he said as he pulled her towards their room.
