O is for October Prompt

Fall is officially here and Halloween is coming at the end of the month. The season here is still hot and costumes are planned around weather that is still considered summer in most places.

I wanted a prompt that could go with both fall and Halloween without being too hard to follow. Fall is all about harvest and the Grim Reaper was actually the first costume that I ever saw Snake in.

So the prompt this month is reap.

You can go any direction you want with the word. We all know the saying about reaping what you sow, but I really liked this quote.

Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.

Robert Louis Stevenson

So take the prompt in whatever direction you want. Harvest, karma or spooky or something I haven’t even thought of. Share your fiction, non-fiction, poetry, images or anything else that says reap(ing) to you. Grab the badge below and link up below and tag your post with #SnakeDenAtoZ and use that link on any social media too!
