O is for October Prompt

Can you believe that it’s October? It seems like this year has gone by quickly. Not going to lie, there were some really long moments. But after the last two years, this one seems back to a more “normal” pace.

The trees haven’t started to change here yet and they won’t until probably mid-November. But we are in Tacoma right now and we are seeing some of the changing of the seasons. That is one wonderful part of travel for us. We love to see how the seasons change in different places.

So for this month, the prompt is Hidden Gems. Yes, I know it seems like an odd prompt, but I found this quote and I loved it.

October is about
trees revealing
colors they’ve
hidden all year.

People have
an october
as well.

The beautiful yellows and oranges and reds that come in October are all part of the leaf when it is green. And each of us has those hidden beautiful pieces that are so similar to that.
