“Yes or no?”
You are distracted by what you are reading on your screen and mumble, “What?”
“Yes or no?” I repeat.
“I missed the first part of the question,” you say, now giving me your full attention.
“No, you didn’t. Yes or no?”
“How am I supposed to answer when I don’t know what yes or no mean?”
I smile and shrug. “Yes or no?”
“Not even a hint?” You know it’s futile but you figure you will try. You’ve already seen the look in my eye.
“Yes. Or. No.”
You try to gauge if the “Yes” will be fun, torture or both, knowing that the “No” will simply shut things down. You sigh. There is really only one answer.
“Yes….”
Nice 🙂 I would have said yes as well.
Ha! Of course there is only one answer!
There really IS only one answer, lol. I wouldn’t want to miss out on the possibility of something good, too.
to be or not to be)))
